This year, we will enhance the AVID structure through the B.E.A.R. Initiative. The B.E.A.R. Initiative was funded using a CFB ISD Educational Foundation grant.

We will continue our AVID focus on organizing materials, time, and thoughts.
We use our class organization system to organize our materials.
We use our planners and goal-setting to organize our time.
We use graphic organizers and AVID strategies to organize our thoughts.
Our campus has provided each McCoy student with a student planner. This student planner will be used to plan study and work time around personal and school events and activities.
